LACES is committed to contribute to children's wellbeing while in CPS custody. Some of these children are there due to their parents being incarcerated or deported and LACES' mission is to serve and reunite these latin american kids with their family members.
The purpose of The JRN Foundation is to help educate, advocate and provide support services to ensure a life without limits for people with a full scale of disabilities. The JRN Foundation currently awards Scholarships to graduating Seniors with physical disabilities in the Conroe Independent School District and college students with physical disabilities attending LoneStar College - Montgomery.
The mission of the National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association, together with its state and local members, is to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy so that every abused or neglected child can be safe, establish permanence and have the opportunity to thrive. Appointed by judges, these trained citizen volunteers look out for children in state care, advocating for their best interests in the courtroom and the community. The role of local CASA programs is to recruit, train and support volunteers in their work with abused children.
